We currently manage all of our advertising through Google Adwords. If you'd like to
advertise with us, create a Google Adwords account, create individual ads oriented to
our visitors, and then create a targeted placement for those ads. The targeted placement
will ensure your ads are shown on FireDepartmentDirectory.com.
AdWords Beginner's Guide
FireDepartmentDirectory.com has two main types of visitors. Our largest group of
visitors are community members interested in learning about a fire department, to
learn about safety information, and to learn about who is responding to an incident.
Potential products and services for these visitors are insurance policies, safety
products, security systems, and other products that protect the home or family. Our
second group of visitors are fire administrators who keep their fire department
information up to date. As of 6-1-2010, we do not have a specific channel to advertise
to these fire administrators. We expect to have an advertising channel for fire
administrators starting 8-1-2010.
